 Kate M. Fitta

Kate is a skilled problem-solver, strategist, and leader with extensive consulting and operating experience.

Prior to founding her consulting practice (Burren Green) in 2015, Kate's career spanned various industries and myriad roles that demanded leadership, teamwork, and execution.  Having spent her early career as a business analyst and project manager, Kate is - at her core - a critical thinker, diligent planner, and dynamic leader, especially during times of significant disruption and change.

During her tenures at Barclays, Lehman Brothers, Deloitte, and New York City's Mayor's Office during the Bloomberg administrations, Kate spearheaded an array of projects that fueled large-scale transformation and earned a reputation for achieving results, building high-performing teams, and brokering decisions and consensus in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

Kate's global track record includes a 3-year stint in London leading post-acquisition business planning and technology across EMEA and APAC, a number of public service commitments in the US and UK, and extensive advisory work for companies that are headquartered in EMEA and APAC.

In addition to serving as Principal of Burren Green, Kate is a member of the Board of Directors for OFS Credit Company, Inc. (NASDAQ: OCCI), an investment company where she serves as Chair of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and a member of the Audit and Compensation Committees. She completed her Board Directorship Certification through the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and has also served as a guest lecturer at the Columbia University School of Engineering.

In 2014, the YWCA of the City of New York inducted Kate into their Academy of Women Leaders, an annual cohort of 20 women selected for leadership, achievement and contributions to the success of other women.  She was also honored by New York City’s Chief Information Officer in 2006 for oversight and delivery of the best citywide technology program.

Kate earned her MBA from Columbia Business School and her BA cum laude from Harvard University.
